STEPS

  1. Paint two coats of the base colour, Antique Petal, on the wall and floor using a roller.
  2. To achieve the wall-to-floor stripe, measure the width, mask it off and rub tape well with a cloth. Paint two coats of Lavender Veil, starting with the wall and working down to floor. Seal the floor with a few coats of Plascon Glazecoat.
  3. For the stencil, draw your desired shapes on cardboard, cut them out and tape them to the wall.
  4. Apply your chosen colour to the sponge using the brush and sponge the stencil with an even dabbing motion. Allow the paint to dry before overlaying the next stencil.

TIP

Be careful not to apply too much paint to the sponge to prevent bleeding.
